Gesa Credit Union plans to offer 10 scholarships

Gesa Credit Union is offering $2,000 scholarships for 10 graduating high school seniors entering college in the fall.

Applications are due by Feb. 28. Scholarship applicants must be Gesa Credit Union members in good standing, graduating high school with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA and entering their freshman year of college as full-time students this fall.

Applications may be downloaded at or picked up at a Gesa branch in Richland, Hanford, Pasco, Chiawana, Kamiakin, Kennewick or Southridge high schools.

Since 1987, Gesa has given more than $160,000 in college scholarships.

Founded in Richland in 1953, Gesa maintains 10 full-service branch offices and seven high school branches in Eastern Washington and offers membership to anyone in the state. For more information, go to
