BP chief scientist to speak at PNNL

A talk on how to make energy sustainable by BP chief scientist Ellen D. Williams is planned at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

The talk, titled "Making energy sustainable: The role of science, technology, policies and partnerships," is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Battelle Auditorium off Battelle Boulevard on the national lab's Richland campus. Cameras and recording devices are prohibited.

Williams will discuss how research, technology, policies and partnerships could help develop more secure, low-carbon energy in the future.
