Almost 300 technology summaries from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and 13 other national labs are now available online.
They are offered as part of the Department of Energy's new Energy Innovation Portal at techportal.eere.energy.gov.
The portal is designed to help investors, entrepreneurs and companies that are seeking cutting-edge energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies available for licensing.
It also helps users identify opportunities to invest in work being conducted by DOE laboratories and participating research institutions.

The summaries explain energy technologies from a market opportunities perspective. They offer a description of a technology, highlight the potential benefits, applications, advantages, and stage of development, and can connect investors and organizations to the proper licensing contact.
In addition to the summaries focused on market opportunities for these technologies, the portal has access to information on more than 14,000 patents and patent applications created using DOE funding since 1992.
