Richland company hits record without injuries

Federal Engineers and Constructors of Richland reached more than 1 million worker hours without time lost to an injury in 2010.

The record stretched from when the company started in 2001.

The company does engineering and construction for government and commercial clients, including at the Hanford nuclear reservation.

FE&C credited the achievement to its commitment to the safety of its staff and contractors and to its implementation of a comprehensive environmental, safety, health and quality program.
