The West Richland Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations of people who have made an outstanding contribution to the community.
Awards for outstanding community service will be given in six categories: educator, business, firefighter, volunteer, chamber member, police officer. The chamber also will give out a community spirit award.
All nominees must be either a West Richland chamber member, or work or live in West Richland.
Applications will be reviewed and scored by a judging committee. Nominees will be evaluated primarily on their impact on the community through their volunteer efforts, community service, and/or business contributions.

Nomination deadline is Jan. 7.
Applications are available at the West Richland Chamber office, 6102 W. Van Giesen, West Richland.
The chamber will hold its annual awards banquet Jan. 21 at O'Callahan's at the Shilo Inn in Richland.
