Distillery's ribbon cutting, open house Thursday

Blue Flame Spirits distillery in the Port of Benton's Prosser Wine & Food Park is planning an open house and ribbon cutting 11 a.m. Thursday.

Brian Morton and Charles Isley opened the distillery and are producing gin, vodka, brandy and whiskey from regionally grown grains.

To get to the distillery, take Interstate 82 to exit 82, turn east onto Wine Country Road, left on Benitz Road, right on Lee Road, past Hogue Cellars to the port development building.
