LPL Financial advisor named to Chairman’s Council
Matthew Riesenweber, an independent LPL Financial advisor at Cornerstone Wealth Strategies in Kennewick, has been named to the LPL Chairman’s Council.
The honor is given to advisors for overall production.
Riesenweber provides retirement and financial planning, estate planning, business planning, individual money management, individual stocks and bonds, mutual funds and annuities.
Energy Northwest honored for hiring veterans
WorkSource Columbia Basin honored Energy Northwest for its history of hiring military veterans with its Hire-A-Vet award Thursday.
Energy Northwest has 1,089 employees, of whom 300 are veterans. According to WorkSource, 35 percent of its new hires in 2016 were veterans.
The award was presented at a June 22 ceremony in Kennewick.
Columbia Basin Ice debuts in Kennewick
Columbia Basin Ice LLC, a state-of-the-art ice manufacturing company, debuted in Kennewick with a grand opening celebration on June 21.
The company is at 6300 W. Deschutes Ave., Bldg. 106A, and produces and marekts ice products throughout the Columbia Basin.
Baker Boyer names interim CIO
Baker Boyer Bank has named John Cunnison interim chief investment officer following the departure of TJ Middlesworth in August.
Cunnison has been with the Walla Walla bank for 10 years.
Middlesworth, who served as CIO for two years, left to travel, then move to Oregon to be closer to family.
“We know that Baker Boyer clients may wonder how this change might affect their accounts. The answer is it will not,” said Peter Allen, executive vice president of Baker Boyer’s asset management division.
Banner Bank announces Banner’s Best recipients
Five Tri-Cities Banner Bank employees have been selected to receive the Banner’s Best award, the highest level of recognition within the company.
Recipients are Lovonna Kane, Ruben Garcia, Shaun Gordon, Shawna Stilwell and Thomas Bright.
Less than 4 percent of Banner employees receive this award. Recipients are selected by members of the executive leadership.
Arts Center Task Force introduces 2 new board members
The Arts Center Task Force recently added two members to its board of directors.
Kavita Patel-Stenoien serves on the finance committee, and Denice Bruce guides the government relations program.
Patel-Stenoien and Bruce work at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Kadlec earns 3-year accreditation for breast biopsy
Kadlec has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in stereotactic breast biopsy after a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
In stereotactic breast biopsy, a special mammography machine helps guide the radiologist’s instruments to the site of an abnormal growth, aiding in the screening for cancerous cells.
ACR accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
Lourdes rehab center awarded with top performer distinction
Lourdes Medical Center’s Acute Rehabilitation facility received a 2017 Top Performer Award from Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation.
The award honors a high level of performance and program excellence. This is the third time Lourdes has been recognized for this award.
Trios Gastroenterology moves to Southridge center
Trios Gastroenterology providers on June 19 began seeing patients in their new practice space at the Trios Care Center at Southridge, 3730 Plaza Way, Kennewick.
The practices of Drs. Tegpal Atwal and Kim Larson are located on the facility’s fifth floor.
Their practice phone number has changed to 509-221-6550. Dr. Atwal will continue to perform scheduled procedures at the Trios Endoscopy Center at Trios Care Center at Vista Field.
Trios gains new nurse practitioner
Family nurse practitioner Charisao Srisuthipornsakul has joined Trios Urgent Care. She will provide outpatient care at the Trios Urgent Care Columbia Center location.
Srisuthipornsakul previously worked at Tri-Cities Community Health providing urgent care services for more than three years, and at Tri-Cities Digestive Health for nearly three years.
She has worked in the nursing field since 2007. Srisuthipornsakul received both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin.
