New Hope plans fundraiser at TRAC
PASCO -- The New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Pasco is sponsoring a Gospel Brunch and Extravaganza at 10 a.m. March 31 at TRAC in Pasco.
The event will include a meal, live music, several door prizes and a grand prize.
Gospel music will be provided by recording artist Pamela Kinsey, the New Hope Church Choir and The Pasco Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Praise Team.
Tickets are $30 each, or $240 for a table of eight.

KENNEWICK -- New Hope Community Church will give away food baskets Monday on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 to 11 a.m.

'Rediscovering Paul' lectures set in March
RICHLAND -- The Shalom United Church of Christ in Richland is sponsoring a series of lectures and workshops March 16-17 on "Rediscovering Paul."
The lectures will be given by two New Testament scholars, both members of the Jesus Seminar. They are Bernard Brandon Scott, professor at Phillips Theological Seminary, and Roy W. Hoover, professor emeritus of religion at Whitman College.
Cost is $75 for the series.
The lectures will be at the church, 505 McMurray St., Richland.

Dinner fundraiser to benefit teen shelter
KENNEWICK -- The Interfaith Youth Group is organizing a Dinner and Dessert Dash fundraiser March 24 for My Friend's Place, an overnight shelter in Kennewick for teens ages 13 to 17.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at Shalom United Church of Christ, 505 McMurray St., in Richland.
Evening activities include bidding against one another for the choicest desserts.
