Missing the mark

My husband has tired of Curious George and this week Tivo’d an episode each of animated Spider-man and Superman for our son.

I can’t say I was completely on board with this.

This evening after dinner we promised a movie to Little AB – he picked Superman. (Rolling my eyes.)

I was doing the typical evening pick up when the whining started:

“Mommy something bad is on and I want Superman back!” he squealed.

He wasn’t joking. There was something bad on! There in front of us was one of those extra long commercials for a five-disc collection of the “Ultimate Love Songs of the 80’s.”

Somehow, I am not thinking that this was the best use of advertising dollars.
