WALLA WALLA -- Enjoy a walk through 10 private gardens in Walla Walla on Sept. 12 and you'll be helping Walla Walla Community Hospice raise money for patient care.
The eighth annual, self-guided Pond and Garden Tour runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Each of the unique and creative gardens incorporates at least one pond, creek or other water feature. The gardens also will have vendors of garden art, musicians and artists on hand.
Tickets are limited, and must be purchased in advance. Credit card orders can be placed by phone by calling 509-525-5561. Tickets are $20 plus a $2 shipping and handling fee for phone orders.

Or, if you're going to be in Walla Walla, tickets are being sold at Bright's Candies & Gifts, 11 E. Main St., and the hospice office, 1067 Isaacs Ave.
All money raised from the tour will be used towards providing quality hospice care in Walla Walla, Columbia, and Northeast Umatilla counties.
