MILTON-FREEWATER -- Two workshops on using renewable energy sources in churches will be Tuesday in Milton-Freewater.
Both are sponsored by the Oregon Interfaith Power and Light (OIPL), a project of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and Bonneville Power Administration.
The workshops are also co-sponsored by Oregon Department of Energy and the city of Milton-Freewater.
OIPL assists individuals and congregations in saving energy and investing in clean renewable energy as an expression of stewardship.

The main speaker for the workshops, Doug Boleyn, has over 30 years experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The first workshop, "Save Your Congregation Energy and Money: A Consultation on Energy Stewardship for Congregation Facilities Managers, Clergy, and Building Committee Members" runs from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Albee Room of the Milton-Freewater Library, 8 SW 8th Ave.
The second workshop, "Energy Stewardship Workshop: A Dynamic Workshop Empowering Individuals and Congregations to Save Energy, Money and the Earth" runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the same place.
