Value menus aren’t a new player in the world of fast food menus. Large franchises, such as McDonald’s and Wendy’s, have been offering cheaper versions of their menu items to cater to price-wary customers for several years.

But with increasing price pressures on consumers, other chains and restaurants have followed suit.

Now, the newest addition to the Tri-Cities fast-food restaurant scene is adding its twist.

Habit Burger & Grill is launching three new wraps at $5 each, starting Tuesday, June 9.

The three options include the BBQ Chicken Wrap, Chicken Caesar Wrap and Avocado Ranch Chicken Wrap. To make a meal, customers can add a choice of fries, side salad or sweet potato fries and a drink to become a Gotta Habit Box Deal for $10.

Deals like these are likely to stick around in the restaurant world since they bring in cost-conscious consumers, according to ModernRetail.

Habit Burger just opened a new Kennewick outlet a few weeks ago in May and has a second location in Richland.

The Kennewick location is at 7415 W. Canal Drive near Columbia Center mall, and, in Richland is at 2831 Duportail St.

Aside from wraps, this California-based chain also has charburgers, sandwiches, salads and frozen treats on their menu.
