Richland library features 'Garbage!' movie on Earth Day

RICHLAND — A family-friendly film titled Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Thursday — which is Earth Day — at the Richland Library.

The film, first screened in 2007, documents the everyday lifestyle of a family of four which has volunteered to save its trash for three months. What these folks learned will open your eyes to waste reduction, reuse and recycling.

A question and answer will follow with Richland Solid Waste staff and a representative from Clayton Ward Recycling.
