Feeling babies kick for the first time can be a pretty strange experience, though it's usually something expecting moms grow to love. But Yolanda Barajas' tiny pregnant Pomeranian is definitely not enjoying the experience, and viewers online cannot stop laughing at her reaction.
Every time the little pup feels her puppies moving around inside her belly, she looks completely confused and instantly starts hopping around like she's trying to figure out what on earth is happening. It's obvious she wants the weird sensation to stop! We're not sure whether this is her first pregnancy or not, but one thing is very clear: this bewildered little dog has absolutely no idea why her stomach suddenly seems to have a mind of its own.

When Can Pregnant Dogs Feel Their Puppies Move?
Most dog pregnancies last about 9 weeks, typically anywhere from 58 to 68 days. Like humans, dogs also go through three trimesters, each lasting around 21 days.
According to PetPace, by Week 7 of pregnancy, you can often actually see and feel puppies moving around inside the mother's belly as they wriggle and shift positions. That also means Mom can definitely feel all that movement happening, too, which might explain why Yolanda's confused little Pomeranian keeps reacting so dramatically.
At this stage, the puppies' skeletons are fully developed enough to show up on X-rays, which can help veterinarians determine how many puppies the mother is carrying. That information becomes especially important during labor, so pet parents can make sure all of the puppies are safely delivered.
By Week 9, the puppies are large and active, often causing rippling movements along the mother's sides. PetPace explains that this stage can make expectant dogs uncomfortable and restless, so giving them plenty of rest is important. A drop in body temperature can also signal that labor may begin within the next 24 hours.
