Habitat for Humanity Tri-County Partners recently held a benefit breakfast celebrating 20 years of building homes in the Tri-Cities area.
About 250 community members and sponsors attended the event, sponsored by Gesa Credit Union, held at Bethel West Pasco.
They raised $48,000 — including a $10,000 check from Gesa — to provide decent, affordable housing in partnership with hardworking families.
Executive Director Rick Jansons presented two Tri-City families with certificates of ownership, celebrating their mortgage payoff.
Jansons also announced the merger of Tri-County Partners with the Habitat affiliate in Walla Walla.
