Mary and Larry Noble celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 21 at the Pasco Holiday Inn and Suites with family and friends.
They were married June 20, 1964, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, in Pasadena, Texas.
In 1963, they met when Larry was in the Army stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and Mary lived in Pasadena.
In 1971, Larry received his civil engineering degree from Washington State University in Pullman. Mary worked in the Animal Science Department at WSU while Larry was a student.
After graduation, Larry worked for Bechtel in San Francisco. In 1973, they moved to Richland, where he worked for Bechtel and Energy Northwest until retirement in 2004. Since then he has worked part-time as a consulting engineer.
Mary worked at WSU, the Kennewick School District as a teacher's aide and as a transcriptionist for Carondelet.
They have four children, Scott of Pasco, Marci Becker of Vail, Ariz., Erik of Pasco, and Ryan of Tucson, Ariz.
They have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
