Adele and Herb Conway

Adele and Herb Conway, of Richland, celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary April 8.

They were married April 8, 1951, in Butte, Mont., and moved to Richland in 1964.

Herb worked at Old National Bank in Pasco as a loan officer, Kennewick National Bank as vice president and manager and Benton City Branch Old National Bank as manager, retiring in 1978. He then worked as a storekeeper for the city of Richland, became the first storekeeper for Washington Public Power System No. 2 plant. He retired in 1986. He has volunteered at the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired and for the Mike Lingg Center for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired.

Adele was a window dresser for the Woolworth store in Butte and a seamstress at Richland 1 Hour Martinizing, retiring in 1987.

The couples' children are Debbie Wallner of Kennewick, Dolly Conway of Portland and Richard Conway of Concord, Calif. They have four grandchildren.
