Donald and Wilma Strong

Donald and Wilma Strong, of Pasco celebrated 60 years of marriage on Dec. 16 with a family dinner.

They were married Dec. 16, 1950, in Grandview. They moved to the Tri-City area from Buckley in 1967.

Wilma worked as a secretary, in accounting and as a homemaker.

Rev. Don Strong was a senior pastor at Faith Assembly Christian Center from 1967-89 and has been pastoral care minister at the center since 1991.

They have three children, Stan (Joyce) Strong of Bend, Ore.; Kathy (Alan) Miller of Kennewick; and Darrell (Vanessa) Strong of Kennewick.

They have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
