Ralph and Judy Myrick of Richland were married June 4, 1960, in Farmington, N.M. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 30 with a cruise to Hawaii and then with a family and friend gathering at Bookwalter Winery where they re-committed their vows.
They have been Richland residents for 42 years.
Judy spent much of her work career working for the Richland School District as a secretary at Richland High School and Marcus Whitman Elementary, and she retired from Chief Joseph Middle School in 2000.
Ralph taught in the Richland School District from 1968 to 1996. He primarily taught fifth grade at Jefferson Elementary, Tapteal Elementary, and retired after teaching physical education at both Marcus Whitman and Sacajewea Elementary Schools in 1996. He is currently a VIPs volunteer with the Richland Police Department.

They attend Bethel Baptist Church.
They have three children, Scott Myrick of West Richland; Neal Myrick of Seattle; and Cassy Spenner of Meridian, Idaho. They have two grandchildren.
