Sunnyside Community Hospital has been named one of the state’s “Most Wired” hospitals.
It’s the only hospital in the Yakima Valley to receive the designation, a news release said.
The designation comes through a national survey that examines how hospitals are using information technology. The American Hospital Association’s Health Forum and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives conduct the survey.
“Our entire team strives daily to improve our internal structures in order to reach a higher standard of excellence in information technology. We are grateful that our team is being recognized for their progress and improvement in this area,” said John Gallagher, Sunnyside Community Hospital CEO, in the news release.
