The Court Street post office in Pasco will have a rare Sunday opening on Dec. 14 because of the busy holiday season.
The post office at 3500 W. Court Street will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14 and will also extend its hours on Dec. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Walla Walla post office, 128 N. Second Ave., also will open Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The U.S. Postal Service also will deliver parcels on both Sundays before Christmas. Customers can use www.usps.com to arrange to have a package held until it can be picked up.
“It’s all about customer service and convenience – especially during our busiest time of year,” said Pasco Postmaster Dana Alderson. “Our goal is to exceed the high standard of service we set last year by delivering on our core promise of timely, affordable and trackable delivery for our customers.”
