The annual Desert Plateau Luminaria starts at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at the west Pasco neighborhood, off Argent Road at Road 44.
More than 30,000 candle-lit bags will line the streets in the residential neighborhood, and hundreds of homes will be decorated with thousands of holiday lights.
Visitors can walk the neighborhoods to see all the pretty lights and listen to carolers, who also will be strolling areas singing Christmas tunes.
The Luminaria takes place predominately in the River Heights and First Place housing developments, and Santa will be handing out candy at 4816 Desert Plateau Drive.
There also will be a Pasco School District school bus parked at McGee Elementary School on Horizon Drive, where visitors can donate nonperishable food for food banks.
