A three-car wreck Saturday morning on Interstate 182’s Yakima River Bridge in Richland was caused by speeding and resulted in no injuries.
The three vehicles were all traveling westbound on I-182 when one vehicle slid on black ice and struck a barrier in the median. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected of being involved. All drivers were wearing seat belts.
Drivers involved in the wreck were 18-year-old Jonathan Cruz Santiago of Kennewick, 20-year-old Danica Dallas Irvin of Richland and 58-year-old Bobbie Smith of Benton City.
Citations are pending an investigation. All of the vehicles were totaled.
