Stoller Family Estate launches artist series, reception

Dayton, OR – Stoller Family Estate, Wine Press Northwest’s “2014 Northwest Winery of the Year,” has launched a local artist series in its tasting room. The series debuts with the nature-inspired works of Kathleen Schildmeyer of Lake Oswego, and will change seasonally.

Stoller is hosting an artist reception with Schildmeyer open to the public on Sunday, June 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Those who wish to attend should RSVP to or call 503-864-3404.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase some of Oregon’s most talented artists and provide a unique experience for our tasting room guests. Kathleen’s work has been celebrated throughout the Northwest and internationally, so she is a fitting first for our series,” said Marketing & Communications Manager, Betsy Hannaford

“My paintings are inspired by nature. When I am in the process of painting I am pulling the experience of sensations into my work, things that are felt more than seen: music, the wind, a dream. The layering of textures often makes reference to another time and place” Schildmeyer said. Her work will be on display until July 27.

Stoller is working with Art Elements Gallery of Newberg, Oregon to introduce future artists seasonally.

The next installation of Tangie Pape-Belmore’s acrylic and mixed media paintings will show from Aug. 1 through Oct. 5. Stoller and Pape-Belmore will host an artist reception, 4 6 pm. on Aug 24
