The National Weather Service in Pendleton issued a forecast for this weekend calling for less rain in the Mid-Columbia but more cool and cloudy conditions.
Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco reported a high today of 58 degrees at 10:53 a.m., with an overnight low of 39 at 4:53 a.m. As of 1:53 p.m., 0.04 of an inch of rain had been recorded.
Tonight, look for scattered rain showers in the basin and snow in the Blue Mountains with lows in the mid 40s.
On Friday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high of 66, a 30 percent chance of rain, and a low of 46.
The forecast is almost identical for Saturday, a high of 67, a 30 percent chance of rain an a low of 45.
Sunday should see conditions begin to improve with a high of 73, a low of 47 and a 10 percent chance of rain. By Tuesday, look for a high of 81 with a 10 percent chance of rain.
