Home field: Quincy High School.
C/DL Jacob Barth, Sr., (5-11, 205); WR/DB Kody Berens, Sr., (6-0, 160); DB Jacob Durfee, Jr., (6-1, 185); P Michael Heitstuman, Sr., (5-8, 200); RG/LB Jose Solorio, So., (6-2, 250); WR/LB Cole Stanley, Sr., (6-2, 185); LB Armando Tafoya, Jr., (6-0, 240); HB/DB Cai Yamamoto, Sr., (5-8, 170).
Others to watch: QB Durfee.
* Wallace's team will boast one of the biggest offensive lines in the conference, with the starting five averaging 241 pounds across the front.
* That should give QB Durfee plenty of time to decided whether he wants to run with the ball, or toss it 50 yards down the field on the fly -- which according to his coach, he can do.
* Berens is the top receiver in the conference coming back. He caught 40 passes last season for 1,125 yards.
* Quincy and neighborhood rival Ephrata get together twice this season: tonight in a nonleaguer and Nov. 3.
With a big offensive line and some talented skill position players, Wallace's team could be in for a bigger win total this season than last year's four.
