Notes: Knights started the season 1-5, but have since won five in a row, including a 32-14 regional playoff win against Ellensburg. ... Tally and Watkins are both sophomores, inserted into the starting lineup after the poor start. ... Knights run the power I and like to to take an occasional deep shot to keep defenses honest. ... Lost in the playoffs in 2008, making fifth trip to quarterfinals. Have only won in this round once en route to 1981 state title. ... Mustangs are making 16th appearance in quarterfinals since 1991 and first since 2008. ... Many of Prosser's seniors played in the Class 2A state championship game against Lynden two years ago -- a 35-34 double overtime loss. ... The Mustangs offense struggled against Othello until the fourth quarter when the offensive line and running game took over. The defense has been stout throughout the season. ... Prosser's lone loss is to Class 3A quarterfinalist Kamiakin.
