Starbucks to offer free Wi-Fi at 6,700 sites

Beginning July 1, Starbucks will provide free, unlimited Wi-Fi access to customers at the company-owned stores in the U.S.

Customers currently can get two consecutive hours a day of complimentary Wi-Fi service after registering their Starbucks card. Those needing more time to surf the web also can purchase two consecutive hours of Wi-Fi access for $3.99.

There are about a dozen Starbucks locations in the Tri-Cities.
