The Tri-City 2020 Vision online poll is still open. You can participate by setting your browser to tiny.cc/2020Vision.
We hope you’ll take the time to complete the questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes and will help the Herald editorial board and others determine what we ought to focus on for the next decade.
But the poll isn’t the only way to help the Tri-Cities imagine the future. This year’s first Community Conversation is on the Tri-City 2020 Vision. You’re invited to help define some common goals for the future.
Our partner for the Community Conversation program — the Benton Franklin Dispute Resolution Center — will provide a moderator to ensure everyone gets a chance to contribute.
The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Herald’s Columbia River Room in Kennewick. If you’d like to participate, send a note via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Chris Sivula at 582-1538. Deadline to apply is Jan. 25.
