Katie Holmes Sweetly Avoids Wardrobe Malfunction on Red Carpet
Katie Holmes was "paranoid" about having an accidental wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet.
Holmes, 47, asked photographers if her nude top was sheer while getting her picture taken at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner in New York City on Monday, June 8. "Wait, can I ask you a question?" the actress sweetly said in a video, shared via X, while walking up to the paparazzi.
"Sure," the photographer replied.
"You can't see anything you shouldn't see, right?" she politely questioned, to which the photographer answered, "No."

"OK, great," Holmes replied while waking back to her spot on the carpet. "I get so paranoid."
For the event, Holmes stunned in a sand-colored tank top featuring a high, gold neckline and loosely-fitted silhouette. Underneath, fans caught a glimpse of her V-neck bralette. She tucked her blouse into black slacks and completed her ensemble with a brown Chanel leather belt and lambskin heels, also by the designer. Holmes made her look even cooler with a small Chanel bowling bag and dangling earrings.
For glam, Holmes rocked a full beat, including dewy skin, bronzed cheeks and filled-in eyebrows. Her makeup was complete with black eyeliner, sparkly eyeshadow and pink, shimmery lips. Holmes' hair was parted in the middle and worn down and straightened.
Holmes previously gave her fans a look at her lingerie in April at the Brunello: The Gracious Visionary gala screening in New York City.
At the time, she rocked a white button-up top, which she let fall down her shoulder to reveal the strap of her black bra. She styled the look with a sequin gray skirt and a black leather clutch. Holmes wore her hair, which was highlighted, parted to the side and styled in beachy curls. Her makeup was just as major with a vibrant lip.
