Adam Sandler has a new movie.
It's You Don't Mess with the Zohan. He plays a Mossad agent who fakes his death so he can go to New York City and be a hair stylist.
Sandler as a cold-blooded killer? Nah. This is — however — a comedy. That is, if you can call Sandler's fart-joke laden films comedies.
Most aren't very funny. Sandler, although one of the most charming and charismatic of his generation's actors — and potentially one of the best — has always been a disappointment. One of the most embarrassing scenes in Click was Sandler on haunches on a desk... never mind. Most of you have seen the picture and get the picture.
I've posted questions like this before but with this new Sandler project, I can't resist again.
Do you ever think this guy will grow up?
Are you, too, tired of the fart jokes, if you'll pardon the pun, stinking up his movies?
Do you agree with me that Sandler could be a great actor?
