Eric Herman releases new video on YouTube

West Richland musician Eric Herman released a new video this month, How Big, which is his first in almost four years.Herman earned international fame as a children's musician after the video featuring his song, Elephant Song, went viral on YouTube a few years ago. That hit was followed by other popular music videos like Blackbeard, Bluebeard and Redbeard and other music videos. His videos have had more than 50 million views worldwide.

His music has been featured on The Today Show, Fox & Friends, PBS Kids, XM Radio and in the film Life as We Know It.

How Big is the first song he's released since his wife Roseann fell ill in 2009 and then died suddenly last year.

"Thinking about how big life is can be very entertaining, but also humbling and even terrifying," Herman said. "But life is also incredibly small, and I think that puts things into perspective. Your life is as big as it seems to you, and that's what really matters."

To view How Big, go to YouTube.com and plug Herman's name into the search field. A dedication at the end of the video states: "For Roseann. I love you right up to the end of the universe and back."
