A boatload of bands will gather at the end of the summer for a jam fest they're calling Chinook Music Festival.
Tickets are available for the Sept. 21-23 event at Jim Sprick Memorial Park in Naches, west of Yakima.
The festival is organized by the Seattle band Cody Beebe & the Crooks as a way of saying goodbye to summer, said Michelle Bounds, publicist for the event.
"This will be an unbelievable setting for the first annual Chinook Fest," Bounds said. "Two days of camping, 20 Northwest bands, food, beer, wine, all local and late night jamming around the campfire is only the beginning."
