The Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival is June 8-10 at Sacajawea State Park in Pasco, off Highway 12 just before crossing the Snake River bridge.
Festivities include music, Dutch oven cook-offs and demonstrations, music workshops, dancing and kids' activities.
The event starts at 5 p.m. with an open mic session followed by concerts by Top Strings, Runaway Train and Balsam Range.
A dance under the stars starts at 9:15 p.m., featuring the music of New Five Cents.
Saturday festivities get started at 11 a.m. with Dutch oven kitchen demonstrations followed by the music workshops. There also will be a Dutch oven seminar at noon conducted by Paul Mantz-Powers.
The Chick Rose School of Bluegrass also will hold a youth music workshop starting at noon, and the Dutch oven potluck and cook-off starts at 6 p.m.
The June 9 concerts start at 3 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m., featuring the music of Bluegrass Regulators, Runaway Train, Balsam Range and New Five Cent Piece.
Gospel music is feature fare starting at 10 a.m. June 10 featuring Bluegrass Regulators, New Five Cent Piece and Runaway Train.
