The annual Tumbleweed Festival is Sept. 2-4 at Howard Amon Park in Richland. Daytime festivities are free. Evening entertainment, which starts at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 and 8 p.m. Sept. 4, costs $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at the gate.
A Tumbleweed Youth Night will kick things off starting at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2 on the fingernail stage at the park. Admission is free. Bands scheduled to perform acoustic music will be Aundria Murdock and Lee Perez, Dear Doris, StaticBox, Kristen Carpenter, Man of the Hour and Silver Dollar Circus.
There will four stages set up throughout the park featuring various entertainers from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3-4. A map of which musicians will be performing on a specific stage will be available at the gate.
