Walla Walla Frontier Days opens Aug. 31

Walla Walla Frontier Days officially opens Aug. 31 and continues through Sept. 4 at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds, off Ninth Avenue.

Admission is $7 for ages 14 and older, $3 for ages 6 to 13 and free for ages 5 and younger.

Family passes are $15 for two adults and two kids. All tickets are available at the gate.

Concert tickets to The Band Perry show on Aug. 31 are $25 to $40 and include fair admission.

Tickets to the Demolition Derby on Sept. 1 are $12 plus fair admission. Rodeo tickets are $12 plus fair admission.

Here's the schedule:

Aug. 31

11 a.m. -- Fair opens with free admission until 3 p.m.

Noon -- Davis Shows & Carnival opens

2 p.m. -- Kids Farm Center opens

6:30 p.m. -- Concert featuring The Band Perry

Sept. 1

8 a.m. -- Gates open

9 a.m. -- Kids Farm Center opens

Noon -- Davis Shows & Carnival opens

1 p.m. -- Pavilion Stage, Pepsi Stage Entertainment

6 p.m. -- Demolition Derby

Sept. 2

8 a.m. -- Gates open

Noon -- Davis Shows & Carnival opens

Noon -- Kids Farm Center opens

1 p.m. -- Pavilion Stage, Pepsi Stage Entertainment, Lawn Entertainment

7 p.m. -- PRCA Approved Rodeo

9:30 p.m. -- Rodeo Dance

6-9 a.m. -- Cowboy Breakfast at VFW hall downtown

8 a.m. -- Gates open

10 a.m. -- Frontier Days downtown parade
