The Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo is Aug. 23-27. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 23-26 and from 9 a.m. to midnight Aug. 27.
Admission is $10 in advance, or $12 at the gate. Seniors who are 65 and older and kids ages 6 to 12 are $5. Ages 5 and younger are free.
Carnival ride all-day wristbands are $23 in advance, or $30 at the gate. The parking fee is $5.
And for those who don't want to deal with the traffic, there's Ben Franklin Transit, which will provide bus service to and from the fair each day.

Buses depart on the hour between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and every half hour from 5 to 11 p.m. from Knight Street Transit Center in Richland, TRAC/Holiday Inn Express south parking lot in Pasco, the 22nd Avenue Transit Center in Pasco, Tri-Tech Skills Center on Kellogg Street in Kennewick, and Lampson Stadium in Kennewick.
During the day, riders from Prosser and Benton City can use the Route 120 eastbound bus to connect with the Knight Street shuttle. In the evenings, there will be one shuttle at 7:10 p.m. to the fair from West Richland Transit Center with one stop in Richland.
There will be one express bus shuttle back to West Richland, Benton City and Prosser from the fairgrounds at 10:30 p.m.
Shuttle fares are $1.25 each way, or $3.50 each way for families of three or more. Seniors 65 and older and the disabled pay 60 cents each way.
Fair/bus combo tickets are $11.50 in advance for ages 13 to 64 and $13.50 starting Aug. 22. For those 65 and older and kids 6 to 12, combo tickets are $6.50.
