A Birds of Prey program is Labor Day weekend at the Skamania Lodge near Stevenson in the Columbia River Gorge.
Festivities start at 5 p.m. Sept. 2 and continue from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 3. There will be eight raptors on site for viewing including a barn owl, bald eagle and Ferruginous hawk.
Raptor specialists also will give lectures on natural history, stewardship and how the birds fit into the environment. There is no charge to attend.
