Celebration set June 25 at Franklin Co. museum

A Centennial Celebration is planned for June 25 at the Franklin County Historical Museum, 305 N. Fourth Ave., Pasco.

The museum was built in 1911 and was called Pasco's Carnegie Library. It was renamed the Franklin County Historical Museum in 1983.

Festivities include a cake and ice cream social, tours of the museum and music by Uncle Joe's Banjo Band, Old-Time Fiddlers and a mariachi band along with various cultural dancers.

Hours for the celebration are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
