Hanford High to present series of one-act plays

Hanford High is presenting a series of one act plays at 7:30 p.m. April 23-24 in the school's black box theater.

Four one-acts are featured. The first is Mirror, Mirror, a parody of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Next is Drop Dead Juliet, which deals with the interplay of art and reality. With Their Eyes explores the immediate experiences and responses to the 9/11 terrorist attacks as seen through the eyes of high school students and their teachers.

And The Philadelphia is a humorously written absurdist piece about living in a big city.

Tickets are $7 adults, $5 students and are available at the door.
