Folk group staid about music - not their name

If you're wondering what a Blah Blah Woof Woof might be, then be ready for the response to be something like, "What would you like it to be?"

Blah Blah Woof Woof, a quintet of folk musicians, will perform a concert April 17 in Pasco. The website for the California-based group explains it this way: "We are five performing songwriters who can do it as well together as we can alone, and have been offering up live and recorded acoustic music for a fraction of two millennia."

The band is made up of Jay Howlett, Steve Kritzer, Chuck McCabe, Megan McLaughlin and Rolfe Wyer.

You can judge the claim for yourself by attending the Three Rivers Folklife Society concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church, 2819 W. Sylvester St., Pasco. Advance tickets are $11, or $9 for students and seniors. Cost is $1 more at the door. Tickets at all Tri-City area Bookworm stores or the Octopus's Garden in the Uptown Shopping Center in Richland.
