'Black pioneers in Early Oregon' exhibit to open

Black Pioneers in Early Oregon exhibit opens Jan. 14 at the Oregon History Museum, 1200 S.W. Park Ave., Portland.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

There will be a special family day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 15 that features activities highlighting the exhibit. Children are admitted free that day.

Regular admission is $11 adults, $9 college students and senior citizens, $5 ages 6-18 and free for ages 5 and younger.
