Hanford High puts on 'Pride and Prejudice'

Hanford High School will present its first play of the school year, Pride and Prejudice, starting Nov. 5 and continuing Nov. 6, 12-13.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Hanford High in Richland.

The story follows Jane Austin's tale of misconceptions and eventual understanding between Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in 19th century England.

A cast of 20 will portray 27 parts in the play, which also features an original score by Jansen Leggett.

Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the door.
