The Biennial Echo Vintage Clothing Show and Tea will be at 1 p.m. July 24 in the Echo City Hall Ballroom, 20 S. Bonanza in Echo, Ore. The event is held every two years with profits going to projects in Echo and maintenance of the vintage clothing collection.
The event will feature fancy desserts and other dainty foods served on glass plates with linen and silverware. Cost is $10 per person at the door.
While guests dine, models will wander so that the guests can see the clothing up close. Shoes, hats, capes and coats complete the ensembles. All clothing dates from the 1850s to 1980s.
Most of the clothing is from Echo's vintage clothing collection, which includes nearly 500 items plus several hundred accessories. Vintage clothing and accessories are on permanent display at Echo City Hall and the library.
