Katie Evans will perform a folk concert at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1322 Kimball Ave., Richland.

Pop music concert planned in Pendleton
Grove Edition plays pop music starting at 8 p.m. Feb. 12-13 at the Wildfire Sports Bar at Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton.
The bar also features comedy shows with Dave Testroet and Curt Fletcher starting at 8 p.m. Feb. 18.

Vintage valentines on display in Othello
Vintage aprons and valentines from yesteryear are featured at the Old Hotel Art Gallery, 33 E. Larch St. in Othello through February.
Most of the aprons are from the estate of the late Nedra Goodwin, mother of Gloria Goodwin of Pasco.

French/American film to be shown in Richland
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, a French/American film, will be shown at 8 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Battelle Auditorium, on Battelle Boulevard off George Washington Way in Richland. Admission is $3.
Vienna Boys Choir to perform in Pasco
The Vienna Boys Choir are scheduled to perform for the Community Concerts of the Tri-Cities at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the auditorium at Faith Assembly Church at Road 72 and Court Street in Pasco.
Admission is by Community Concert season ticket. Individual tickets are $20 adults and $10 for students. For tickets, call 375-6082. They also will be available at the door.
Lecture to discuss civil rights activist
Jim Kershner will give a talk about Carl Maxey, a civil rights activist in Washington during the last century, starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Richland Public Library.
The free lecture is part of the Community Lecture Series with Friends of the Richland Public Library hosting the event.
'Sweet Land of Liberty' symphony concert set
The Walla Walla Symphony will give a Sweet Land of Liberty concert starting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in Cordiner Hall on the Whitman College campus in downtown Walla Walla.
Cost is from $12 to $25 for adults, from $10 to $18 for college students, and from $6 to $12 for kids 18 and younger.

Academy of Children's Theatre fundraiser set
Heart for the Arts, a fundraising dinner and auction for the Academy of Children's Theatre, starts at 6:16 p.m. Feb. 19 at the ACT studio, 213 Wellsian Way, Richland.

Observatory tours set for Feb. 13, 26
The monthly LIGO observatory tours starts at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 26 at the LIGO Hanford observatory, west of Richland on Horn Road. Admission is free and all ages welcome.

Volunteer sought for Richland arts group
The Richland Arts Commission will be accepting applications for a vacant position until March 5. The "Artist in Design" position is vacant due to a resignation.
Members of the commission are affiliated with professions in the visual, literary, performing or design arts and serve staggered three-year terms. The group serves as an advisory committee to the city council to provide recommendations on artistic endeavors for the city. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the council chamber at city hall.

Home, garden show coming to TRAC
The Home and Garden Show is Feb. 19-21 at the TRAC facility in Pasco.
Hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 20 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 21 Admission is $6 for ages 13 and older. Tickets at the door. If you bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Salvation Army, you'll receive a $1 discount on tickets.
Laugh Lover's Ball set Feb. 13 in Kennewick
The Laugh Lover's Ball will present two performances at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.
Featured comedians are David Crowe, Megan Mooney, Eddy Gossling, Dan Cummins and Cash Levy.
