Cowboy entertainer to perform in Pendleton
PENDLETON -- Cowboy musician and entertainer Dave Stamey performs a concert starting at 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at Hamley's Slickfork Saloon, 30 S.E. Court St., Pendleton.
Admission is $35 for reserved seats and $25 general admission. Tickets available at the door.
Breakfast is fundraiser for Edith Bishel Center
Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired will hold a "Short Stack for a Tall Cause" breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at Applebee's restaurant, 43 Columbia Point Drive in Richland.

Hudson's Bay trader to be featured in series
WALLA WALLA -- Living History Series presents the life of Hudson's Bay Company trader and adventurer Andrew Dominique Pamrun at 2 p.m. Aug. 15-16 at the Fort Walla Walla Museum, 755 Myra Road in Walla Walla.
The re-enactment comes with admission to the museum, which is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, $3 for kids 6 to 12. Museum opens at 10 a.m. every day through Oct. 31.
Whitstran Art Group's work appearing in show
The Whitstran Art Group will hold its 13th Fine Arts Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 22 at the gallery at 92101 W. Old Inland Empire Highway in Prosser.
Featured artists include Marlene Fournier, Allyson Leonhard, Ruby Seeber, Judy Reiss and Barb Rogers. Admission is free. For more information, call 509-973-2417.
Maryhill Museum offers free admission
The Maryhill Museum will offer free admission to residents of Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Klickitat and Walla Walla counties Aug. 22-23.
There also will be an arts festival at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 15-16. The festival features live music, food and beverage vendors, and more than 50 artists and their work. The festival outside on the museum grounds and there is no admission fee.

Sidewalk Stompers to perform in Irrigon
IRRIGON -- The Sidewalk Stompers Dixieland band plays a concert for Music in the Parks starting at 7 p.m. Aug. 17 at Marina Park in Irrigon, Ore. Admission is free.
Columbia Chorale group looking for new singers
The Columbia Chorale seeks new voices for its long-running choral group. All voice ranges are welcome with special emphasis on soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

Hummingbird Garden Party fundraiser set
The annual Hummingbird Garden Party, a fundraiser for Mid-Columbia Mastersingers choral group, is from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 at the home of artist Lisa Hill, 619 Tanglewood Drive in Richland.
Visitors can stroll through Hill's lushgardens, enjoy homemade ice cream and listen to live musical entertainment. There is no admission fee but donations are welcome to the Mastersingers, which performs several concerts throughout the year.
Directions to Hill's home are: Take the bypass highway to Duportail and turn left on Duportail toward the Yakima River, then turn right on Riverstone, left on Banyon and right on Tanglewood Drive.
