Prosser turns up the heat with Wine and Hot Jazz Bash

PROSSER -- The Prosser Wine and Hot Jazz Bash is May 15-17 at two downtown locations.

Bands from the Mid-Columbia as well as Montana will hit town for the hot jazz and sweet wine celebration.

About 10 bands are scheduled to appear including Dennis Clauss Big Band, the Dixie All-Stars, the Big Sky Syncopators, Montana Lite and KCJ Jazz Company.

The music will stay focused at The Princess Theater, 1226 Meade Ave., and Bern's Tavern, 618 Sixth St.

The music starts at 5:30 p.m. May 15; 1:15 p.m. May 16; and 10 a.m. May 17.

Tickets are $60 for a three-day pass with single tickets at $25 for Friday, $35 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday.

This is the third year of the festival, which has grown from a handful of people in attendance to nearly a thousand.
