WSU Tri-Cities to hold open mic poetry night

Poets of all ages and levels of experience are invited to share their verses at the Open Mic Poetry Reading Night at 7:30 p.m. April 2 at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

The open mic event is in the East Building Auditorium at 2710 University Drive, Richland. Admission is free and open to the public.

POPP's annual Fur Ball set April 10 in Kennewick

The Pet Over Population Prevention Society's annual Fur Ball starts at 6 p.m. April 10 at Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.

Cost is $40 per person and the event is open to all ages.

The Fur Ball raises funds to operate spay/neuter assistance and foster/adoption programs for homeless pets. For more information, call 374-7309.

Psychic, healing fair set April 4 in Kennewick

The annual Psychic Expo & Healing Fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 4 at Red Lion Hotel next to Columbia Center in Kennewick. Admission is $6 at the door. The event features intuitive arts and healing modalities, lectures, healers and psychic readers.

Gig Harbor band to play Richland church concert

The Dewgrass Family Band from Gig Harbor are the featured musical guests for the annual Bluegrass and Gospel Concert is April 4 at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive.

The event is sponsored by the non-profit Mid-Columbia Traditional Arts & Music Association. Also appearing will be Top String from Pasco.

Phish at Gorge tickets go on sale March 27

Spring arts, crafts show set March 27-29 in Pasco

The Spring Arts & Crafts Show is March 27-29 at the TRAC center in Pasco.

Hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 at the door and is good for all three days. Parking is free and kids 12 and younger are free.

Regalia making part of Tamástslikt program

The Tamástslikt Cultural Institute in Pendleton will hold a program featuring regalia making from the Klamath and the Coos confederations.

The event is from 1 to 5 p.m. April 3 at the institute located next to the Wildhorse Casino. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
