Take in wine, music, Hollywood at fundraiser

Kevin Selby will be the featured musician for this year's Art and Wine fundraiser at St. Joseph's Church in Kennewick.

This year's festival, called The Golden Age of Hollywood, starts at 6 p.m. Feb. 7 in the church's Dillon Hall.

Admission is $50 at the door or in advance at the church or school office at 520 S. Garfield St. The fundraiser is the primary source of operating money for St. Joseph's School.

Selby, of Kennewick, plays contemporary classical music with a jazzy edge.

The festival also will include food and drink from area wineries, microbreweries and restaurants.

There also will be live and silent auctions offering such goodies for bid as a large handcrafted metal cross designed and crafted by Dave Sieler; a night at the movies that includes 24 tickets to area movie houses and gift certificates to 12 different Tri-City restaurants; landscaping by Jesse's Lawn Maintenence; 18 holes of golf for four at Meadow Springs Golf Course; dinner for 20 at Carmine's Restaurant in Kennewick; a pearl and sapphire bracelet; boating and tubing on the Columbia River for four kids age 10 and older; wine country tours; and trips to Idaho, Las Vegas and other locations.
