PORTLAND - The annual Portland Pirate Festival is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 20 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 21 at Cathedral Park under the St. John's bridge.
A one-day pass in advance is $12 for adults and $6 for kids or $15 for adults and $8 for kids at the gate. A two-day pass is $18 for adults and $10 for kids in advance or $20 for adults and $12 for kids at the gate. Children 2 and younger are free.
Festivities include historical re-enactments, a mauraders market, pirate beach battles, and musical entertainment by Captain Bogg & Salty, B.O.O.M. and others.
